Belarusian Scientific Research and Design Institute of Oil BelNIPIneft is a research and engineering center of the RUE Production Association “Belorusneft” of the Belarusian State Oil and Chemical Company.  The main task of the Institute is to provide scientific and technical products and engineering for the oil industry of the Republic of Belarus, as well as to develop export of services for oil and service companies of near and far abroad countries.

The staff of the institute makes a significant contribution to the formation and development of the industry, the preservation of the oil potential of the Republic of Belarus. Our institute is one of the leading institutes of the oil industry in the CIS countries, which can solve any problems associated with  exploration and development of oil and gas fields, production and transportation of hydrocarbons. BelNIPIneft has work experience in fields not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also in the Russian Federation, the Ukraine, Venezuela, Ecuador, India and other oil and gas production  regions.

BelNIPIneft provides services in the field of geological exploration design; processing and interpretation of seismic data; reserve calculation; preparation of design documents for well construction; field development; development of integrated gas and oil and gas production programs aimed at enhancing of reserve development; creation and maintenance of geological and dynamic models; introduction of telemetry systems for well equipment and oil production facilities; tracing filtration flows; adaptation and implementation of new technologies for enhanced oil recovery and intensification of oil production; development of projects for surface and subsurface field facilities design; environmental regulation and development of documents in the field of accident prevention and industrial safety.

The Institute is equipped with highly qualified specialists with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, both in Belarus and abroad. The institute's staff consists of 90 researchers, 348 engineers and technicians, including 13 PhD and 56 masters. Continuous work is underway to improve the skills of THE specialists.
In the institute there are the laboratories with the most modern facilities, equipped with high-tech equipment, instruments and software for a wide range of scientific and technical studies. The results of these studies are reflected in design solutions for the development of reserves, in the development and implementation of new technologies aimed at enhanced production, development of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves, increasing oil recovery, improving well drilling technologies, oil production and transportation. The research results are published in scientific works of the Institute, which are of industry importance, in materials of various conferences,  seminars and specialized scientific and technical magazines, published  here and abroad.
Over the past 10 years, the Institute has received more than 100 patents for inventions and utility models in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and the EAPO. Many patented solutions are involved in oil production and bring significant economic benefits.
The institute has implemented a quality management system that meets the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard as well as an environmental management system according ISO 14001: 2017 standard. BelNIPIneft is accredited as a scientific organization.
