Drilling equipment operating time is now recorded automatically.

The new device is built into the driller's car. It also lets the worker know when it is time to undergo maintenance, replace components and mechanisms, and how much fuel is being consumed. More than 30 vehicles in the Department of Field Seismic Operations have already been equipped with such sensors.
