Belorusneft employees took part in IRONSTAR 226 SOCHI 2021 competitions.
As a result of the Sochi distance, Belorudneft gained three more “iron” men, one more man confirmed his Ironman status for the second time. The hours-long challenge included: a swim, a bicycle ride and a marathon run. The total distance was 226 km. Serguey Potupchik, Aleksandr Mizhalkovski and Aleksandr Shilets came to the resort to test themselves and to cover the ‘iron’ distance for the first time. Pavel Kevlich did it for the second time.
IRONSTAR 226 SOCHI 2021 is the final stage of Russian triathlon season. The competitions were held at different distances. From sprint (750-km swim, 20-km bike and 5-km run) to ‘iron’ distance of 226 km (3,86-km swim, 180 km-bike and 42,195-km run). Both professional athletes and amateurs took part in the competition.
Belorusneft employees dedicated their Ironman status to their company and demonstrated the character of real oilmen. Strength of spirit, persistence, endurance and self-victory as the components of success.
