How Belorusneft makes industrial wastes into secondary resources.

Rational and careful treatment of natural resources is one of the main priorities in Belorusneft activity. Innovative technologies that are applied in this field are the real way to make production processes as safe as possible for the environment.

Oil and Gas Production Department Rechitsaneft has developed the strategy of environmental management. It includes timely diagnostics and replacement of oilfield pipelines and water pipelines, control during construction of production facilities, monitoring of underground waters, etc.

One of the urgent issues is the management of waste from production activities. The use of waste in the company amounted to more than 93%. For comparison, in the country as a whole this indicator together with municipal waste is 28.5 %.

Belarusian oilmen attach special importance to the culture of production and improvement of the level of environmental education. Consistent implementation of "green economy" principles is being carried out in the company, the course is made for economical consumption of resources and application of the best available technical methods.
