In the area of oil field geology the Institute provides services in geologic substantiation of the following activities:

• geologic support of production testing projects, technological workflows and oil and gas field development projects;
• geologic substantiation of the objects for drilling and sidetracking;
• geologic support of well drilling;
• selection of well workover operations in order to increase production and decrease watercut. 

The works are performed using program software Oraview, Petrel, Visio, Mapinfo.
